Smileys History
Since 1953 the Smileys name has been synonymous with farming in the Skagit Valley. What started as an International Harvester Tractor dealership by Howard Smiley, later under the management of Dale Smiley, grew into a thriving metal fabrication and machine shop, with specialties in agricultural equipment and trailer services.
In early 2021 Smileys was purchased by Maritime Fabrications and the Oczkewicz family, another Skagit Valley based business, which specializes in aluminum fabrication and building equipment for commercial fishing vessels. The knowledge and capabilities of each company now combined offer comprehensive metal fabrication, machine shop, and trailer solutions for customers in Skagit valley and beyond, continuing the original Smileys legacy of quality work and customer satisfaction.
