A bumper pull is the traditional kind of hitch that is located underneath the rear bumper of your vehicle. The bumper pull trailer attaches via a ball mount on the back of your towing vehicle. Bumper Pulls are commonly used to pull lighter loads and small trailers. 5th Wheel Hitch
5th wheel hitches are attached to the bed of a truck, and not at the rear bumper. Because of this 5th wheel hitches can move heavier trailers as opposed to bumper pulls. They can accommodate more weight and are often installed permanently in a truck bed, making it a more bulky and permanent option. Smiley’s Pro Services can install or repair your 5th wheel hitch.
Gooseneck Hitch
Gooseneck hitches are commonly used for commercial, agricultural, and livestock towing. A Gooseneck hitch can offer a greater towing capacity and is less invasive and bulky as compared to a 5th wheel hitch. A factory tow package is a set of everything you need to tow your trailer, all designed specifically for the vehicle that you have. This means that your vehicle is designed to handle a specific load size, and won’t become damaged with time. Tow packages come in a variety of different sizes, the most basic including a trailer hitch and electrical wiring. We can install a package similar to a factory tow package, to almost any vehicle that does not have a hitch.
